Description of Research and Teaching
Dr. Wang’s current research interests mainly focus on children’s environmental health. She conducts longitudinal epidemiological studies to examine how early life factors, such as prenatal heavy metal exposure and nutrition status, influence children’s neurobehavioral development and physical growth. Animal study is also included in her research to explore the mechanisms underlying the effects of environmental factors on children’s health. Until now she has published several articles in top Science Citation Index journals in the field of environmental health.
Dr. Wang has experiences in teaching Pediatric Nursing and Internal Nursing to undergraduate students.
